Kill 'em All was Metallica's first studio album.
Metallica wanted to name this album "Metal up your Ass", but changed the name to "Kill 'em All"
Re-released by Elektra with 2 extra tracks.
This album was the record companies' first release.
Peaked at #100 in spring of 1985 on Billboard.
Dave Mustaine was asked to leave the band just before Recording(4-11-83).
Kirk Hammett replaced Mustaine and still remains in the band(4-16-83).
Recording began May 10,1983 in Rochester, NY... finished on May 27.
The band complained that they were locked out of the mixing for the album.
The Mechanix, an early Metallica song, was worked into "The Four Horsemen".
